I was a part of the NRYA every Saturday morning up until I
was 12, then I moved onto the Friday evening group until I
was 18.
I took part in many different plays and undertook many
different roles, I grew in confidence as each year passed
right up until I left. Having such a positive vibe as you
enter the drama group really embarks on the way you enable
yourself to strive with confidence and a positive attitude.
Nichola provides a fantastic experience for everyone, giving
each young person the motivation to thrive at every
opportunity. Mixing us up into different groups helps
provide a strong growing team, of young children and young
adults.
Being a part of the group for such a long time has allowed
me, to experience different ways of learning as well as
acting, being able to cooperate with others who were younger
and older than me gave me an experience which I feel; I
wouldn’t have been able to get just being in a school
environment.
The NRYA, is a place you can feel comfortable enough to be
able to improve your social skills as well as your acting
skills.
